Group reservations

With the following pages you can make group reservations for guided tours, program and conference packages in Suomenlinna.

It is not possible to make reservations for regular guided tours during summer times and wintertime weekends. We offer a wide scale of different program and guided tours in 15 languages for groups. Make your reservation in advance from these pages! After you have filled in the electrical formula, we answer you in 1-2 workdays. The reservation is confirmed when you approve our offer by email or by phone. Please notice that reservations should be made at least 48 hours before arrival.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION CLAUSES

Cancellation or changes of the tour and/or other programs is free of charge three business days before the occasion, after that a charge of EUR 70 will be charged. Any possible changes should be made at least 48 h before the reserved tour, changes made after that cannot be taken into account. If the cancellation is made later than 48 h before the occasion, the cancellation fee will be the total cost of the tour.

If your group has reserved the “Suomenlinna Experience” wide-screen film, please, note that the performances starts promptly at the given times.

Cancellations and changes can be made Mondays to Fridays at 10-15 (Finnish time). Tours on holidays receive a price increase of + 30 %. We reserve the rights to changes in the pricing.

If there is an agreement of cash payment, it should be executed at the Suomenlinna Visitor Center.

Changes/cancellations due to the delay of the group can unfortunately not be taken into account.

Fares and transport

If you have reserved tickets to water bus fare with the JT-Line water bus through us, the tickets should be presented to the sales office at the Market Square. The sales office is open Mon-Sun from 09-17. If the size of the group differs from the issued voucher, the personnel of JT-Line will make any possible corrections to the voucher. If the sales office is closed, please present the vouchers to the ticket vendor aboard the water bus.

The reserved fare can not be paid in cash, it will be billed after the trip. If you have reserved a private transportation for your group,no additional ticket is needed.

The transportation company does not accept place reservation, only a notification of the group. Suomenlinna is a very popular destination and the transportation vehicles may be full. We hope you take this into consideration and we recommend that your are at the shore in good time before the departure!

The cancellation clauses for the regular water bus transportation is the same as for the guided tours. However if you have reserved a private transportation for your group it has to be canceled at least 14 business days before the date of the reservation or we will acquire a cancellation fee of 20 % of the fares worth.

Restaurants and restaurant services

We kindly ask you to chose a meal from the menus, that we have provided you with, at least two weeks before the event. The whole group will have to chose the same menu. Please inform us beforehand of any vegetarian or special diets and also of the final number of participants at latest four (4) weekdays before the event. The invoice will be made according to the information at hand at that date. If you have ordered any alcohol beverages, the restaurant will bill them separately.

If you are forced to cancel your food order, the cancellation clauses are as follows:

Same day cancellation: 100 % of the events worth

1-4 business days before: 75 % of the events worth

5-8 business days before: 50 % of the events worth

9-15 business days before: 25 % of the events worth

Please note that Suomenlinna is a outdoor attraction and therefore the visit will be much more enjoyable if the visitors are dressed accordingly and wearing comfortable walking shoes.
