Suomenlinna fortress has 8 different conference- and seminar rooms available for renting all year round. The rooms are suitable for groups from 12 to 240 persons. All the conference and seminar rooms are renovated gently in buildings from the 18th - and the 19th centuries giving an historical atmosphere for your event. The rooms are equipped with the common conference technique.

The popular conference and meeting rooms of Suomenlinna were awarded 2006 with the Best of Helsinki Award -Best Meeting Experience by the Helsinki City Tourist & Convention Bureau.

Example of a conference package for approx. 50 persons

  • Meeting in the Ballast Room auditorium or the Pajasali Room in the Crownwork Ehrensvärd.

  • The meeting rooms are equipped with common conference technique.

  • King Gustav III lay down the cornerstone of Crownwork Ehrensvärd in 1775 and the construction works of the biggest building of the fortress begun. The Crownwork housed activities connected with the Dry Dock.

  • Morning- and/or afternoon coffee in the meeting room.

  • Lunch at restaurant Suomenlinna Brewery or restaurant Chapman.

  • Program for your refreshment: guided walkning tour with a fortress guide.

     

Example of a conference package for approx. 100 persons

  • Meeting in the tenaille von Fersen or the Pirunkirkko Room in the Crownwork Ehrensvärd.

  • The meeting rooms are equipped with common conference technique.

  • Tenaille von Fersen conference and banquette room is located in the fortress' old bakery and grain storage dating from 1775.

  • Morning- and/or afternoon coffee in the meeting room.

  • Lunch at restaurant Suomenlinna Brewery or restaurant Chapman.

  • Program for your refreshment: The Surprise Visit of the King or a guided walking tour with a fortress guide.
