At 11.15 the Island Hopping journey starts with a visit to Vallisaari with the Jt-Line waterbus from Market Square. Enjoy a glass of sprakling wine on board the waterbus while admiring Helsinki from the seaside. Duration of the journey approx. 20 min.
At 11.45 a guided walking tour at the green island of Vallisaari begins. During the tour an authorized Vallisaari guide presents the Aleksanteri route with its historical attractions and the beauty of the finnish archipelago nature. Duration of the tour approx. 90 min.
At 13.35 the Island Hopping journey continues wih the JT-Line waterbus to Suomenlinna, the World Heritage site of UNESCO. Duration of the journey approx. 10 min.
At 14.30 a guided walking tour at Suomenlinna begins. During the guided walking tour an authorized guide tells about the 260 years of eventful history of the fortress island under the rule of three different states as well as the life on the island today. Duration of the tour approx. 60 min.
At 16.00 the Island Hopping journey continues wih the JT-Line waterbus to the island of Lonna. Duration of the journey approx. 10 min.
Visit trendy and tiny Lonna. Its history is intertwined with the history of Suomenlinna. At Lonna was negotiated the mysterious capitulation of Suomenlinna, it was a storage for gunpowder and the base for deactivating seamines. Today it houses one the most interesting resturants at Helsinki serving local finnish food.
At 17.20 return back to the Market Square with the JT-Line waterbus. Duration of the journey approx. 10 min.
